Review : YSL Touche Eclat

Review : YSL Touche Eclat

I was super excited to receive the YSL Touche Eclat as everything about it screams luxury.

Despite common misconceptions this is a highlighter and not a concealer. You would use this to highlight and brighten areas rather than to conceal them. If you apply this directly to problem areas it can draw attention to them.

The pen has a little click-y button at the bottom which pushes the product up to the brush.

I received Shade no.1 which has pink undertones, this is perfect for my porcelain skin.

Touche Eclat can be used for in the following ways :

  • Underneath dark areas that you wish to minimise
  • The inner & outer corners of eyes to brighten and widen
  • Around the lips so that they appear larger
  • Underneath creases
  • On the brow & cheek bones to add structure
  • On top of concealer for a more natural finish

This versatile product has become a firm favourite of mine as it really does work in many ways. I love to use Touche Eclat when I’m on a night out and know that there will be plenty of photos, it also comes in very handy to hide the appearance of a hangover!

YSL Touche Eclat is available in four different shades and is priced at £17.95 for 2.5ml of product. It is available to buy from Cheap Smells, postage to the UK is free and the product will normally be dispatched within one working day.

Have you tried YSL Touche Eclat? What is your ‘go to’ highlighter?
