In my last haul post I mentioned that I had quite a few things to return. I decided to not be very sensible and exchange the items instead of having refunds, despite being very strapped for cash. *slaps own wrist*
Pink skinny jeans, New Look £16.99. I exchanged the pale pink jeans that were too small for me for these in a bigger size. I didn’t think they had the pale pink ones in my store. Annoyingly when leaving the store I saw that they did have them, they were just hidden from view by all the staff standing around gossiping. Despite me stating to the SA that I couldn’t find the pale pink ones in store. I’m not really sure what I think of these jeans, I’ve only worn them twice and they have gone a little bobbly inside of the legs already. I did plan on purchasing a few more pairs in different colours as they are so cheap, but probably won’t now as the quality seems quite poor.
Black Wedges, New Look sale £10. I couldn’t resist this little bargain. I tried them on in the shop and they feel quite comfortable. I haven’t worn them yet.
Colour Block Court Shoes, New Look sale £7. Again, these felt quite comfortable in store and I couldn’t resist them for £7. The heel isn’t too high which is a huge positive for me. I haven’t worn these yet.
4in1 deep facial cleansing wipes, Primark. I’m not sure how much these were, but they would have been cheap. I’ve been using baby wipes to remove my make-up and they have just run out. I thought I’d give these a try as I was in Primark.
Blue blouse, Primark £8.90. I love this blouse, I’m not so convinced by the slight train on the back but the colour and the shape of it I do really like. I think this will look lovely with the pink jeans and black wedges above, along with my black blazer.
Cat Blouse, Primark £10. I couldn’t resist this, I love cats and this is just so cute! I do wish that it wasn’t sleeveless as the colours are more winter for my liking. I have been wearing it with long tops underneath and a coat/jacket which means I can still wear it in the winter. I’m sure I’ll still be wearing it come the summer so will get quite a lot of use out of this.
Cards, WH Smith. This week it is Spencer’s nans birthday and my bro-in-law (to be)’s birthdays. We picked up these cards when in Smiths buying gift vouchers, I particularly love the Meer Kat one!
Retro sweets, WH Smith £3.99. We also picked these up in Smith’s to go to my bro-in-law along with his vouchers, its his 30th so we thought it would be nice to add a little something extra to the vouchers. He loves sweets so we couldn’t resist these. I think the packaging is quite feminine but who cares, he’ll enjoy the sweets! I may ask him if I can have the packaging back for my sweet table at my wedding – or is that too cheeky?
