You may remember me getting a little excited about the Chanel lipstick that I purchased at the St Davids event a while back. I’ve had a good try of this lipstick and am now ready to reveal all.
I explained to the lovely sales assistant in John Lewis that I tend to wear red lipsticks in the evening & stick to tinted lip balms in the day and that for a change I fancied a nice pink lipstick for day time wear. She picked up several different shades and eventually matched me to number 13, Gardenia.
This is from the hydrating creme lip colour range. My lips were quite dry in these photos due to being run down with a cold, normally when my lips are this dry I don’t enjoy wearing lipstick as it does make them feel worse. This lipstick doesn’t, it really does hydrate the lips.
It is a long lasting, good quality lipstick. Would I re-purchase? No. Why, you ask? The only reason that I will not re-purchase is that I simply cannot afford to spend that much money on a lipstick, believe me if I could I would have a house full of them!
I purchased this lipstick in John Lewis, Cardiff. It isn’t coming up on their website which is why the link takes you to House of Fraser.
