August Empties

Weleda Pomegranate Regenerating Body Oil from July GlossyBox. This lasted for so long! When I first received this I loved it, but after a while I found myself missing creams, which is why it lasted so long because I kept using body creams instead! It smells lovely and does do the job but unfortunately its just not for me, I’m a cream girl and not an oil girl. Re-purchase? No.

Tea Tree Deep Cleansing Facial Wipes from Wilkinson’s. These really aren’t that good for removing make-up, this is the second pack I’ve used up because they were on offer two for something when I bought them. I wasn’t impressed after the first pack but used this pack just to get rid of them. They do leave a lot of make-up grime behind. Re-purchase? No.

Nivea Rich Firming Body Moisturiser Sample. This product doesn’t work fast enough to get a feel for it from this small sachet sample. The moisturiser does feel nice on the legs but I can’t tell how well it works from this. Re-purchase? Maybe.

Essential Care Organic Rose Moisturiser from May JolieBox. I enjoyed using this and I am a fan of rose scented products so this really appealed to me. It didn’t leave my skin greasy which is a huge plus for us oily skin suffers! Re-purchase? Yes.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Exfoliating Wash. I feel that this range really has helped with my problematic skin, it didn’t get rid of my acne completely but it really did reduce it slightly. Re-purchase? Already have.

Quinoderm 5. I’ve reviewed this wonder product here. This has practically got rid of all of my spots. I am totally in love with it! Re-purchase? It is actually from the Doctor so its free 🙂 My repeat prescription went in a while back and I am now using my second tube.

    Hi,
this Pomegranate oil I had used also, and it smells so gorgeous, but I have same problem like you, I'm missing creams, I can not live only with oil 🙂

It is surprising how much you miss body creams isn't it! It just feels so much nicer rubbing a cream in than an oil! X

I really like the Body Shop Tea Tree range. It always helps me with problem skin & they have now release a pore minimiser on this range. I cant wait to try it out.

I did see that they are doing the pore minimiser, I must try it because I have HUGE pores and get on so well with everything else in this range! x

I don't think you can fault The Body Shops skin care range, I've used odd bits of the Tea Tree when I suffered more with spots. But now I stick to just the Tea Tree concealer, you should try it! I don't feel guilty for wearing makeup on spot days 😉

I've been wanting to try the Quinoderm cream after seeing your post on it a little while back but I thought it was available on prescription only & my doctor was on holidays so I've been waiting patiently for her to come back so I can make an app. I was browsing in the chemist at the weekend & found it! Thankfully it wasn't prescription only so I picked up the cream & the face wash of it. Fingers crossed it helps my skin, I'm literally at my breaking point with it now! x

Glad that you managed to get hold of it and I really hope it works as well for you as it has for me. I didn't realise they did face wash too, may have to give it a go x
