I have now come to the end of my two week Jenny Craig* trial. I very almost stuck to the diet 100%, then my old school friend came home from London and I fell right at the last hurdle! There was wine, jaiger bombs and chips, fun but very naughty! I did worry that this may affect my weigh in, I shouldn’t have worried at all though because the weigh in result was brilliant! I lost….
This combined with the 2lb that I lost last week gives me a total weight loss of 8lb in the two weeks of the trial. I am so pleased with this as I was hoping to loose half a stone in the two weeks and I did it!
Now, onto the actual diet. Would I recommend it? Yes. I found this diet to be the easiest diet to stick to ever, it is the only time that I have managed to (almost) stick to a diet without any little treats. If a foodie like me can stick to it it must work well! There are obvious downsides, it isn’t great socially and sometimes you don’t want to eat what you have to as you really, really fancy something else. As for the social side of it, you can still eat out. If you know you have a meal coming up just ring your consultant who will talk you through and advise you of the best thing to eat.
There is one other big downside with Jenny Craig. The cost. It costs £249 p/m if you sign up for four months. The majority of your food is included in this but you do have to buy certain food items to go with the plan. I personally cannot afford this cost, but if you can and are looking for an easy way to loose weight I highly recommend the plan.
