I picked up a sample of Urban Decay’s Naked foundation from Debenhams just over a week ago and have been using it every day since.
Weightless and virtually invisible, this revolutionary, oil-free and paraben-free formula creates a flawless, demi-matte finish; light diffusing spheres make you look professionally retouched. It’s the ultimate in ultra definition.
The girl on the counter thought that shade 1 would be right for me so gave me this to trial. She was right as this matches my skin perfectly.
The foundation itself is very runny. It blends in really well and doesn’t make fine lines more visible. I’d describe the foundation as being medium coverage, but it is build-able.

As you can see from the before and after pictures this foundation helped to reduce the redness around my nose and conceal my spots slightly.

You don’t really need a setting powder with this foundation, but as my skin gets so oily I tend to wear one. I have trialled the foundation both with and without powder.
Without powder I get about 4-5 hours wear before my oil starts coming through, which is a great improvement on other foundations.
With powder I get a full 8-9 hours wear shine free, which is pretty great.
Unlike a lot of other foundations that I have used I found that this didn’t slip when my oil came through, it just broke down instead which is better as I don’t end up looking all patchy!
The foundation includes anti-wrinkle ingredients as well as Green Tea and Vitamin E so is very kind to your skin. The one potential downside is that it doesn’t contain an SPF.
If, like myself, you suffer with oily skin I highly recommend picking up a sample of this foundation. If you have dry skin I’m not so sure as I think that it may cling to dry patches.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation costs £27 for 30ml of product.
