Review : Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation – Ivory “I’m Pure 4 Sure”

Review : Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation – Ivory “I’m Pure 4 Sure”
 Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation £24.50
Our brightening makeup gives a naturally luminous complexion you can believe in. The oil-free formula with SPF 25 PA+++. builds from light to medium coverage while feeling barely there. And with the power of our Oxygen Wow Hydrating Complex, it helps boost cellular respiration and prevent the signs of ageing. Available in 9 shades.
I’ve been wanting to try this oil free foundation for quite a while now and had hoped to pick up a sample when having my eyebrows done at the Benefit Brow Bar. Unfortunately they didn’t have any samples available, instead the SA applied the foundation on me so that I could get a feel for it. It really impressed me which resulted in me purchasing it.
The foundation came with a Porefessional sample which I will give to my mother as she really wants to try it.
I was matched to Ivory “I’m Pure 4 Sure”. This shade is perfect against my pale skin tone. The foundation comes in nine shades so there should be a decent match for most people.
Left – No make-up  Right – One layer of Benefit Hello Flawless
The foundation offers light to medium coverage and builds up quite well, I wouldn’t recommend it for those seeking a higher coverage. I love how it looks on my skin, my skin feels fresh and appears to glow when wearing. It has a dewy finish, which has a tendency to make my oily skin look even worse, not with this though, this provides a real natural, non-greasy, dewy finish. It lasts all day on my oily with setting powder and doesn’t slip.
The packaging could possibly be classed as a bit dull compared to other Benefit products but I like it, its plain, simple and descriptive. Random, but I really like the font of the text! It looks like a glass bottle but is actually plastic. I’m always surprised at how light it is when I pick it up as it looks so much heavier!
It comes with a pump – yay! One pump dispenses more than enough for a full face of foundation. The formulation is quite runny but blends in well.
Overall I have been really impressed with this foundation and am very glad that I made the splurge. This is my perfect foundation for when my skin is playing nice and I just want a ‘my skin but better’ day.

Just one more reason for me to go out and buy this! Have had my eye on it for ages but every day I seem to hear about an amazing new foundation at the mo and sometimes it's hard to know which one to go for! I do love Benefit in general though and think I'm going to pop the 'How to Look the Best at Everything' kit on my Christmas list so that I can give this a try 🙂

I'm waiting for this to be delivered as we speak! Great review, I'm even more excited to try it now! Although I've gone for champagne and I'm quite pale – hoping it's not too dark

Oh dear, more Benefit temptation. It's everywhere I look atm! I think the 'How to look the best…' kit will have to go on my brithday list so I too can try this out. The oxygen pumping abilities are supposed to do wonders for your skin I've heard.

You've tempted me to go and swatch this when I'm next near a counter and I don't normally like their makeup!! I do love the primer sample you had. I'm on the last legs of mine.

Nice review. I'm thinking about trying this but I have oily skin so I don't know if the dewy finish would look on me, plus the shades all look quite yellow when I have pink undertones in my skin. I might get a sample 🙂
