Cher Lloyd Eau De Toilette 30ml* £15
The diamond is used as an iconic symbol for all of us to remember that no matter what others may say, we are all special! A sweet fruity floral fragrance with dominating top notes of Golden Quince, Cassis and Exotic Kiwi, mixed with the confident middle notes Jasmine Petals, White Chocolate, Orchid and Orris Root. Leaving you with base notes of Creamy Musks, Vanilla Pod and Indian Sandlewood lingering on the skin.
I was recently invited to the launch of Cher Lloyd’s first perfume, as the event was on a week day in London I was unable to make it. A short while after I received the perfume in the post, which I thought was very generous of the PR company and a lovely surprise.
I’m not a fan of Cher Lloyd so was really dubious about her perfume, and I must admit I instantly assumed I wouldn’t like it. However, I proceeded to try the perfume and was very pleasantly surprised. I actually really like it! Some may think that the scent is a little childish as it is very sweet. I’m personally a big fan of sweet perfumes so am really loving this one.
Another assumption on my part, but I thought that as it was a ‘branded’ perfume it wouldn’t last very long. Once again, Cher Lloyd proved me wrong! This perfume lasts all day and well into the evening. I haven’t worn it for two days but can still smell it on my scarf. I cannot fault the longevity of it.
Onto the packaging, I initially wanted to hate this big, plastic, pink diamond, but I couldn’t help but love it a little! It is uber tacky and not really practical but I can’t help but like it. The lid has little magnets in which you can just about see in the photo. The one major downside about the packaging for me is that it does take up quite a lot of room.
You can purchase Cher Lloyd’s perfume from The Fragrance Shop, The Perfume Shop, Boots and Semichem.
