Washi Tape Bedroom DIY

Washi Tape Bedroom DIY
I saw this post on Victoria’s blog ages ago, decided that I too needed to re-vamp my shelves and then promptly forgot. This post on Louise’s blog reminded me of the Washi tape DIY that I had once been so keen to re-create. I decided to order some Washi tape from the seller that Louise recommended, they arrived quite quickly and seem to be of good quality.
I ordered three rolls from the eBay seller that Louise used, it cost me £5.62 for all three rolls including P&P.
There were loads of different patterns to choose from, some of the ones that I preferred were out of stock so I decided on these three.
I used the pink floral roll to pretty up the edges of the shelving in my bedroom. Luckily the tape was the exact same size as the shelf edges which made this a super easy job. I just taped it along the edge and then snipped it off. Such a cheap, simple but effective DIY.

I did worry about the longevity of the the sticky-ness. I first applied the tape over a week ago and haven’t noticed any peeling so it seems to have stuck down pretty well. If it does start peeling it’ll be easy enough to add a little glue to the edge.
I bought the Washi tape from this eBay seller who has a huge range of tape and various other pretty, crafty items.

This is an adorable idea thanks so much for sharing! I rent so I'm really limited at what I can do to a place- no redecorating allowed but this is something I could do to pretty a place up and it's easily removed when I leave! xx
