Hi guys, sorry for abandoning my blog a little the past week, as you can probably tell by the title I was away for the week loving life! I had an absolutely amazing time with the best friends that I could ask for. I miss them already 🙁
We went to Frankie & Benny’s for breakfast before travelling to Newquay. The girls gave me some presents to unwrap which included alcohol and sweets for the journey and this most amazing hoodie! Most of us had these hoodies and wore them during the day for the majority of the week, they got us quite a lot of attention!
Night one saw pre-drinks in our grotty caravan (We styled in Smugglers, an 18-30 site, very cheap but not very clean!), drunken mirror shots and mojito by the jug.
On day two we wore hoodies, posed by the beach and ate the most gorgeous cream tea.
We fell in love with CribBar, we struggled to believe it was a Wetherspoons! They had an entire make-up area in the ladies, a wall covered in sex wax and really funky paint splashes. I even asked the bar man to take a photo of the funky urinals for me ha! They had concrete sofas outside which were so dangerous but so funny! The amount of people that just sat on them expecting it to be a cosy sofa was hilarious, we all fell for it on our first night! The sofas even had coins right down in them, so funky! (Note the serious overuse of the word funky, it really was funky though!)
We met some guys from Newcastle and sang karaoke with them. We sang Stereophonics and Tom Jones, we pretty much turned Help bar into a Welsh bar on Tuesday! We found the photo on the right hilarious, we know it wasn’t actually telling just us not to sing any more but we still giggled uncontrollably at it!
We went to Watergate Bay which is a very surfing orientated beach, it was fab to watch people surfing.
The girls surprised me on the Friday with personalised badges and tees, an inflatable sheep, inflatable willy and a willy for my head, amongst other things!
The Saturday night saw 15 Welsh Wally’s hit Newquay haha! The girls even had masks with Spencer’s face on! Such a good laugh!
Newquay, you really did destroy me, but, it was a real pleasure! Thank you so much to my amazing friends for making my hen such a good one!
