Week in Photos #91 (The Christmas one)
Well hello there strangers, apologies for deserting you over Christmas. I hadn’t planned on taking a blogging break but it would seem that being off work makes me incredibly lazy! I hope you’ve all had an amazing break too and are looking forward to celebrating new years eve in style. As always, here is a little snapshot of my week.
I’m always so naughty with my food over the Christmas break, this little lot are just a few of the naughty breakfasts that I’ve been eating.
Christmas eve saw the annual family visit to the pub, finishing wrapping the presents and making cookies for gifts, you can see the recipe post here.
Christmas day 🙂 We had lunch at my parents and then went to Spencer’s parents in the evening, it was a great day and I had loads of presents 🙂 My niece and nephew were also up my parents for Christmas dinner so it was great to spend it with them. Gracie loved her new bike. We bought Tom & Olly matching Christmas jumpers, isn’t that the cutest photo?
I love this tree decoration. Nadolig Llawen is Welsh for Merry Christmas.
Primark’s labelling makes me chuckle, size 16 on the outside, size 18 on the inside label. So annoying.
Spencer got me a keyboard for my iPad for Christmas, I’m slowly getting used to it but am struggling slightly as it is so small.
Being a pig again, Terry’s chocolate oranges are amazing. I made chocolate truffle cheesecake for my tea and cake afternoon with the girls. I will post the recipe shortly.
I had the girls around Friday afternoon for tea and cake. As expected with us it was actually wine/lager and cake! It was a great day that went into the early hours of the morning.
I used parts of the icing from our Wedding cake as a table decoration, it looked lovely. I wore the top that I had off my sister and her partner for Christmas.
There has been a lot of festive drinking. My favourite things to drink over Christmas are Baileys and Snowballs. It isn’t Christmas without a snowball. Fact.
Delicious food goings on – can you believe that I didn’t take a photo of my Christmas dinner?!?
My lovely mother gave us a load of mushed up veg, left over meat and stuffing so that we could do our own Bubble & Squeak, so thoughtful. We’ve also been eating faggots and Dominos.
My work trousers probably no longer fit.
