Sorry this is a little late, between snow, man flu and Spencer fixing my laptop I just haven’t had chance!
The sky was so pretty last week, we’d just had a tiny scattering of snow at this point which looked gorgeous with the pink sky.
Kinda DIY photo frame using a Cath Kidston fabric swatch and washi tape, I think it looks really effective. This was when we got engaged in 2009, my hair was quite a bit shorter then!
We finally got snow and it hasn’t stopped since! I love the snow so I was more than happy to wake up to this.
Watching the What Happens in Kavos… programme got me reminiscing, I’ve been there three times and loved it everytime. It seems to have gone a little crazy now though! This was me the last time I went, in 2007. I wish I had that figure again!
Stagecoach were good at keeping us updated with the snow on the first day that it fell, not! It turns out no buses were running across South Wales, they just didn’t bother telling us!
The downside to the snow, we didn’t get to use our Dominos 50% discount code as they weren’t delivering 🙁
Freebies with my Benefit order, the perfume is gorgeous!
My wellies and fluffy socks have been going everywhere with me this past week and are continuing to do so!
I’m a huge fan of garlic bread but tend to avoid it as it really isn’t healthy, I was quite excited to find this Weight Watchers one, it actually isn’t too bad. I had it with Buck Wheat and some chicken kiev type thing.
These hot chocolates are gorgeous, very overpriced, we managed to get them on offer for £1 each. I’d buy them now and again as a treat. I think they’d be nice to take to your friends house for a cuppa.
I live about one and a half miles from the office so I walk in when the buses aren’t running. A few of us live near each other so all arrange to meet at the top of our roads and go in together. I love walking in the snow, we have a great laugh! I was all prepared and even took a coffee for the journey.
We managed to get an IKEA trip in before the snow started. I love the food there. Of course I opted for the meatballs and Dime cake, delicious! We signed up for their family card which means we get discounts off certain things and free hot drinks between Mon – Fri, we both had a lovely hot chocolate.
This pink flower was one of the many items that I picked up, it looks lovely in my vintage bottle.
Snow days mean no more dry January. I did last a little while but there is something about the snow and finishing work early (especially on a Friday) that makes me want to drink! We finished work at 1pm so went to Wetherspoons for a gourmet burger and quite a few bottles of wine between us! We then went up to one of the girls houses for a few card games and back to the pub. The top right photo is my walk home from the pub, quite fun when drunk!
The cats try to walk as close to the wall to avoid getting their paws cold. They don’t particularly enjoy walking in it yet they beg to go out.
We had more snow fun on Saturday, a few people came to ours to play in our garden, we then went to the pub and got very drunk again!
Have you had much snow where you live? I have loads more snow photos from this week but have only gone up to Sunday on this post as that is when it should have been posted, they’ll be on here next week though. It is actually snowing as I type this, crazy stuff.
