Week in Photos #102

Week in Photos #102
Sorry that this is a day late, I, like the majority of Wales, suffered quite an awful hangover yesterday. The celebrations in Cardiff on Saturday were worth it 🙂
I loved the photos that kept popping up on facebook yesterday, these two were my favourites.
I finally got around to studding my Converse, I’ve been meaning to do this for so long and am really pleased with the finished result. My Converse are fakes from Egypt so I’m not sure how the material compares to real Converse, but these were super easy to pierce.
We picked up our Wedding photo album, it is so beautiful!
On Friday my work tied the ‘Wear something red for Wales’ day in with Comic Relief, we had a dress down day in which we had to wear something red, preferably a rugby shirt and make a small donation to Comic Relief.
Bubble & Squeak with ham, yum.
This second photo was an absolutely delicious meal. I put boiled potatoes, Turkish sausage, onions and some herbs into a dish and baked for 20 minutes. Delicious.
I slept in my old bedroom at my parents house on Friday as it was easier for Saturday morning, I miss waking up to this view.
It was my nephew’s first birthday last week, where does the time go? We bought him these cool clothes from Primark.
My cats love unmade beds.
I treated us to some hot chocolate with squirty cream, marshmallows and caramel flakes, delicious.
We had the hot dog stuffed crust pizza from Dominos to help our hangovers last night. It was nice but mine was so soggy, the dough was just falling apart.
Excuse my horrible chipped nails and just look at the Ferrero Bunny, soooo tasty!
My niece and nephew had a joint birthday party Saturday morning, I volunteered to make the sandwiches. I cut them into star shapes with a cookie cutter, they went down so well, the kids loved them.
I’m on day two of the hangover so am probably going to head to bed now! Normal services will resume soon…

I literally laughed out loud with the second picture! It looks like a great week Leanne; I'm thinking of doing something similar to my Converse, but I'm also a pro in procrastination, so we'll see how and if I will ever do it (and as an owner of both a fake and an original pair, I can say that there is no difference).
Also, as always whenever you show what you cooked, you made me hungryyy!
    Happy new week!

haha it is a fab picture! You should definitely do your Converse, it was so easy to do when I finally did it! I know what you mean about procrastination though, I'm a sod for it!
Happy new week to you too Ria xx

Hmmm not sure about the hot dog stuffed crust, it doesn't appeal to me! Saturday must have been amazing, I was saying that I'd have loved to be out in Cardiff (even though I'm English!) xx

      It was gorgeous 🙂
Saturday was absolutely fantastic, I'd recommend a match day in Cardiff whether you're Welsh, a rugby fan, whatever you are just come along lol you can't help but be swept up in the atmosphere x

Great idea for the sammies (sandwiches) – my nieces and nephews would really go for that. Cheers
