Maggie So Crispy Lemon & Herb Chicken
I’m posting something slightly different to normal today, I really enjoyed it so thought I would share it with you guys. I picked up a sachet of Maggie So Crispy Lemon & Herb Chicken while doing my weekly shop in Tesco. I hadn’t seen anything like it before so was pretty eager to try it out.
All you need is a sachet of the breadcrumbs, four chicken breasts and an egg. I used chicken breast pieces as these were what I happened to have in my fridge. I poured the breadcrumbs onto a plate, beat the egg in a bowl and covered my baking tray with grease proof paper. You just need to dip each chicken piece in the egg mixture and then press down into the bread crumbs on each side. There was more than enough in the sachet, I threw quite a bit out, it was nice to have the excess as it helped give a thick coating on all of the chicken.
Once you have given all of your chicken a good coating pop it on the oven and cook according to the packet instructions. 
My chicken came out perfect and with a good, tasty, crispy coating. This was super easy to make and a much better alternative to pre-breaded chicken available in supermarkets.
I’ve also seen this in Chilli and Garlic & Herb. I’m having the Garlic & Herb for tea tomorrow and am super excited to try it. I skipped the Chilli as I don’t do spicy food.

    I tried these a few weeks ago, they are so yummy! Crispy on the outside but still tender and juicy chicken inside!xx
