Review : Real Techniques Duo Fiber Collection

Review : Real Techniques Duo Fiber Collection
I pretty much fell in love with Real Techniques after trying just one of their brushes. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some more.
The design of this limited edition collection is a little different to the usual look, the white aluminium handles look striking against the black base and the colour of the text pops nicely.
I may be a little behind here but I didn’t realise that RT brushes were colour coded. Yellow = Flawless Skin, Purple = Enhanced Eyes and Pink = Perfect Finish.
This kit contains three brushes, a face brushes for powder & pigments, a contour brush for controlled contouring & sculpting and an eye brush for adding the finishing touches to the eyes.
I’ve been using the face brush to apply my ELF HD Powder and it works brilliantly, the powder blends straight in without leaving a ghostly white residue behind which can happen with certain brushes. I imagine this brush would also work well to apply bronzer and blusher.
The contour brush allows very precise application. I’m useless when it comes to contouring so haven’t used this brush for that purpose, instead I have been using it to apply my blusher and it works like a dream.
The eye brush is my favourite of the bunch. I’ve been using this to blend my eyeshadow and apply darker colours to the crease and wow, it really does work like a dream. Another suggested use for this is to apply under-eye concealer. I haven’t tried it for this purpose but I imagine that it would work really well.
As with all Real Techniques brushes this collection is 100% cruelty free – another big thumbs up from me.
My brushes came from Cloud 10 Beauty where they are currently available for £23.99, hurry though as they are limited edition!

I've been tempted for awhile to get some real techniques unfortunately my budget doesn't call for it.
