Here I am, banging on about my weekend away again! I tend to travel quite light as I absolutely detest lugging around heavy luggage, despite this my luggage always ends up too heavy.
This little lot are my travel essentials. I love these coffee sachets when I’m away as you just add hot water, no need to buy milk, sugar and coffee. I don’t tend to use face wipes to remove my make-up at home but as I knew the weekend would involve a lot of drinking I decided to take a pack, they may not be the best for your skin but its better than not removing your make-up at all. The rest is quite obvious. Plasters just in case, paracetomol & ibrupofen – these weren’t just for the hangovers, my wisdom tooth started playing up the day before we went away so I was popping these to try and ease the pain and the swelling. I also packed my good old IBS tablets.
I managed to squeeze all of my shower stuff, my make-up bag and my Enrapture curlers into my huge Soap & Glory bag. This is a great bag for travelling. The contents of this bag probably cost about ten times the value of the contents of my whole suitcase!
I think I did very well with travelling light, particularly on the make-up front. I washed my brushes before going so packed them in my Sigma Dry ‘n’ Shape. I don’t find it to be very good for drying brushes any quicker to be honest but it is great for transporting and keeping them in shape. (I took these photos when I came back which is why my make-up brushes don’t look as if they’ve just been washed!)
Other products that I took included RMK primer sample (from a JolieBox), Mac Lipstick in Russian Red, MUA Mascara* for the days and Origins mascara* for the evenings, MUA Intense Kisses lipgloss in Smooch*, MUA Pistachio Ice Cream Nail Varnish*, ELF HD Powder and my favourite perfume of the moment, Rhianna Reb’l fleur. I took my trustee Naked palette for my eyes as that contains pretty much every eyeshadow that I could ever want for any occasion.
