MUA Merged Baked Eye Shadow Trio in Legendary £3*
With three complimentary shades these blendable trios bring day, dusk and evening drama – just what every girl needs! Each contains two tone threads of colour creating a beautiful shimmer, sparkly enough to satisfy the glitter craving in you!
From your sexy nude tones with ‘Legendary’ to your sultry blues, each soft but durable trifecta of colour will hold up pigmentation for hours. Use the palest shade as a wash over the eye and under the lid, pop the middle shade in the inner corner and use the darkest shade blending out to the outer corner.
For highlighting the cheeks try using the lightest shade sweeping just above the cheekbone to create a pearly glow.
The baked eye shadow trios from MUA are so pretty. ‘Legendary’ contains the perfect colours to compliment a tan. The packaging is pretty much what I have come to expect from MUA. A clear lid so that you can easily see the colours, a double ended sponge applicator which isn’t great but is practical for on the go. Pretty much plain and simple, which I like. The only downside for me is that the individual shades don’t have names.
The top swatches were applied dry and the bottom wet. With these shades it doesn’t really make that much of a difference, though I imagine it would with the deeper shades in the Theatrics trio. The one visible difference when applying wet is that more of the different colours seem to come through.
The eye shadows felt a bit scratchy when swiping with my fingers but I find them to apply just fine. They do take a little bit of building up to get a deeper colour but I find this is the case with all baked eye shadows that I have tried. Please do bear in mind that I haven’t tried many.
I find these to typically crease after 6 – 7 hours wear without primer, bearing in mind that the weather is currently beautifully hot I think this is pretty good going.
MUA Merged Baked Eye Shadow Trios cost £3 and are available online from MUA store and in selected Superdrug stores.
