Review : MUA Colour Blast Eyeshadow Tint – A Girl Like Me

MUA Colour Blast – A Girl Like Me £3*

Get a long-lasting tint of colour with this smooth cream eyeshadow. The easy-glide formula can be blended or worn alone for cool, block colour eyes. Encased in a handy chubby pencil the applicator rolls up for ease.

Colour Blasts are one of the latest releases from budget friendly brand MUA. They cost just £3 each and are available in a choice of six colours. The packaging is fab, though very similar to a certain high end brand. I haven’t tried the other brand so can’t compare anything other than the price. MUA’s version comes in at a whopping £14 cheaper.
When swatched on the hand the eye shadow tints are fairly pigmeneted and easily buildable. Application to the eyelid does take a little more building up than on the firmer skin of the hand. The plus side of this is that you have the option of whether to wear them sheer or not. The formula is quite creamy and as a result blends easily. The eyeshadow does not pull on the lid during application, it glides on quite easily.
As for wear, without primer I find that I have minimal creasing by around midday, so around four hours wear. With a decent primer (I use Urban Decay) this lasts all day.
MUA Colour Blasts cost £3 and are available online at MUA store and from Superdrug stores.
