Benefit Advent Calendar – My Final Thoughts

Benefit Advent Calendar – My Final Thoughts
As I’m sure you already know by now I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Benefit advent calendar, thanks to my generous hubby! The advent calendar cost £50 and a lot of people were very intrigued to see if it would actually be worth that amount.
The calendar contained a mixture of Benefit’s cult products along with three bonus items, a bracelet, hair clip and necklace.
The main reason for me wanting the advent calendar was to try out a variety of their products without risking paying £20+ for one product that I didn’t get along with, I personally think paying £50 to trial 21 different products is a much better investment.
My favourite items in the calendar were the blushers, Girl Meets Pearl and Ooh La Lift. My least favourite products were the lip glosses, I think four is overkill and it is a shame that they didn’t include maybe two lip glosses and two lipsticks. I also think it was a real shame not to see They’re Real and Rockateur included as they have been largely hyped this year.
I had considered keeping all of these products to the side in a make-up bag so that I had an almost complete bag full of minis ready for when I went away, but to be honest I can’t resist using them now!
All in all I am very happy with the calendar, I received a total of £150 worth of beauty products (not including the bonus items) for just £50 and have discovered some fantastic Benefit products to add to my ever growing wishlist. I’m not sure if I would purchase a Benefit advent calendar again purely because I imagine that there will be a lot of duplicated items, that being said I will definitely be checking what it contains next year (if they do another).
I have detailed the full contents and approximate costs below (all items link to blog post with mini review) :

Thanks for this post! From seeing this I am glad that I didn't spend the money on it, even though I debated it because I own almost all of these products already! Also, thanks on the approximate cost. It's nice to see what it's actually worth.

I have quite a lot, if not most of these products either as minis or as full size but I still think it was a great calendar x

I don't actually own many Benefit products so it was fantastic for me x

I really debated which calender to get this year and eventually settled on The body shops offering but this one does look fab but I don't think I'd get the full potential as I'm not totally sold on benefit (I know blogger shocker!)

haha shock horror! It is good that we all like different brands, the world would be a boring place otherwise! x

I would have loved to get my hands on this – I know exactly what you mean about wanting to try out lots of products without shelling out £20 for one item! Maybe They're Real wasn't included as it's been given out as a freebie in magazines lately?

That is a good point re They're Real not being included. I actually have a few samples of it kicking around here as I guess a lot of other people do. xx
