The lovely Lauren of Emerald Dove tagged me in the Christmas Cracker tag before Christmas, I had it earmarked to do a while ago but things got in the way and I am only now getting around to it! Better late than never hey?

I was actually lucky enough to receive most of the items on my list this year, in fairness I didn’t actually ask for much. The main items on my list were my Canon 1100D, Beyonce’s Midnight Heat perfume, A Beautiful Mess Photobook, a pair of Vivienne Westwood earings, Benefit’s perfume set, slippers, PJs and a new knife set. You can view my post sharing what I actually received here.
We tend to rotate our Christmas dinner each year, one year at my parent’s house and the next at the in-law’s house. This year we went to my sister’s house first thing so that we could drop my niece & nephew’s presents off, we then had dinner at my parent’s house and spent the evening at the in-law’s house.
Thankfully I’ve done all of it, I’d be in a whole heap of trouble otherwise!
This is such a difficult question! I don’t tend to receive many big surprises, this year I received a lovely Nica bag that I wasn’t expecting.
I always try to get my decs up on the first weekend of December. The husband is never very happy about this so usually manages to put me off until at least the second week!
In an ideal world I would wear my onesie all day Christmas day but as I have to go out visiting I don’t really think it is appropriate! I don’t tend to dress up much, usually just sticking to a Christmas jumper and jeans – I like to be comfortable for all that food! This year I jazzed it up a little with my sequin Converse.
Back a few years ago Boxing Day was all about going out and drinking all day. Nowadays I just can’t be-bothered with that. This year Spencer and I stayed in our onesies all day, had a few drinks and played Monopoly. It was such a lovely evening, the bonus being that I won Monopoly which meant that Spencer had to cook the tea!
I was actually discussing this with my friends the other day. I really can’t remember when I stopped believing. I’m guessing that not remembering means that it was just a gradual realisation with no big shock.
I love cinnamon and spices at Christmas time, also the smell of Mulled Wine and oranges always gets me in the festive mood – basically everything you smell when visiting the Christmas markets. I think that Benefit’s ‘Under My Spell Noelle’ perfume is the best Christmas perfume ever.
Everything! Catching up with old friends is high on my list, there are people that I rarely see but can guarantee that I will catch up with them at Christmas time. I also love spending time with my family and of course the time off work and the presents!
Thanks for tagging me Lauren. I hope that you enjoyed reading my answers despite them being quite late! If you would like to join in with the belated tag please do so and let me know so that I can have a nose at your answers!
