My Eyebrow Story…

My Eyebrow Story…
About two years ago now I had a serious case of dodgy eyebrows. I had them waxed at a local salon who got carried away and left me looking like this (I’m on the right).
I’ve never had a nice shape to my eyebrows but this was seriously shocking. I tried a few different places after this incident and eventually fell in love with Benefit in Debenhams, Cardiff. I have been going to Benefit for around a year and a half now, it has taken a lot of restraint but I finally have the eyebrows that I never thought I could achieve.
When I was invited along for a complimentary tint and wax for review purposes I bit their hands off, I love the results that I get when I go there and am honestly not sure why I haven’t blogged about it previously!
What I like the most about the Benefit Brow Bar is that they really take their time and are all so pleasant. They start by waxing, then plucking any stray hairs, then trimming down the longer hairs. They even apply Browzings and concealer so you don’t walk around looking red and sore!
A wax and tint will set you back £18, with a wax alone costing around the £11 mark. You also receive a loyalty card which offers quite a few freebies including a free Benefit deluxe gift on your 12th wax and a free wax on your birthday week.
Ladies – if you resolve to do just one thing in 2014 make it achieving the perfect Benebrow!

Old salons messing up people's eyebrows seems to be a very common problem!
Benefit saved me so they can save anyone haha xx

I need to do this as well, a salon I went to the one and only time over-plucked mine and they are still a mess x

It is so annoying when they over pluck! Growing them back is the most frustrating thing ever. x

I seriously need to go to the Brow Bar – lack of time is the reason why I have not as of yet, had my brows down there – I am also nervous after a local place going over the top – seriously why do they do that. Yours looks amazing, love the results 🙂

Thanks Laura. It seems to be a recurring theme with local places scaring people!
You should definitely try it one day, I'm so happy with them. xx

I wish I could so this! The eyebrows always look so amazing and yours are too! BUT I barely have ANY eyebrows so I am not sure what they would be waxing or tinting 🙁 whoever could give me bigger eyebrows would be working a miracle ahah x

Thank you! I've never tried it myself but have heard of hair growth serums that you can use on your eyebrows, it may be worth your while trying something like that. xx

I've not had my eyebrows waxed in ages, I just pluck them at the moment as last time I had them waxed the beautician ended up making my skin burn around my eyes. But Benefit seem to do them good so will look into getting them done soon.

They are fab in Benefit but I would but careful, if they burnt last time maybe your allergic to something? x

It's amazing how much of a difference your eyebrows can make, I feel naked if I haven't had mine done.

Recently tried out HD Brows in a salon and it's safe to say I'm addicted….third visit booked already 😉 x
