Review & Giveaway : Canvas Design

Review & Giveaway : Canvas Design
When I received the chance to review a canvas* from Canvas Design I jumped at the chance. My niece drew a really cute drawing of Spencer and I in his Birthday card and I had been planning on doing something with it for a little while so this really did come at the most perfect time.
Isn’t this the most adorable drawing? The dots on Spencer’s face are his spiky bits, aka, his beard! He is holding his birthday present and I’m not wearing a hat, it seems that Gracie thinks that my glasses go right up around my head.
You may think that the canvas isn’t pulled tight and is a little bumpy, I can assure you that this is not the case, the canvas is very tight and has no lumps/bumps whatsoever. As I scanned an image in from a Birthday card the ‘waves’ of blue colour show through in the larger image.
The quality of the canvas is great, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a pen drawing but it came out very clear, no little detail missed.
Canvas Direct very kindly gave me a discount code to share with my readers, use code BLOG15 to receive a 15% discount. They have also very, very generously agreed to give my readers the chance to win their very own canvas.

I never would have thought to put a child's drawing on a canvas, but it's such a lovely idea 🙂

Also, I'd put a photo of me on the canvas. Sounds weird but you can't see my face in it, it's a photo taken by a friend of mine when we were on holiday years ago. It's a photo I love and have always wanted blown up to put on the wall 🙂
