Pancakes 🙂 I get so excited about pancake day, though I did cheat a little this year and buy ready made pancakes from Greggs, I don’t get home from work until 6pm and simply
don’t have the time/am too lazy to make tea and pancakes. I popped these in the microwave with M&S Salted Caramel sauce and dark chocolate chips on them, they were so good! I also made real pancakes on Saturday when I had time to spare.
Slimming World meals this week. I perfected the pork and egg burgers – keep your eyes peeled for a recipe post | delicious chicken fried rice with Chinese five spice and Soy sauce | Tesco’s syn free bbq pulled pork and Smash.
My new cushion covers from eBay and Daffodils have brightened up my house | My fantastic canvas* from canvas design has arrived, it is a drawing by my niece, there will be a full post and a chance to win your own soon so keep your eyes peeled! | I blogged about my cats cool new collars, you can read that here | My canvas came packed in a lot of cardboard, which I made into a cats den.
I had such a good day Saturday, the sunshine really puts me in a good mood. I started the day making pancakes and labelling my teas, I put a load of washing on the line, walked up to my sister’s house and then back to my house with her, my niece and nephew in tow via the canal. Me & my niece wore our matching hi-tops, her’s are quite clearly a lot more worn than mine!
In the evening I enjoyed a glass of Rose with a delicious curry cooked by hubby and then snuggled up on the sofa for treats and Breaking Bad.
Today I sorted out a few old clothes to take to H&M, they pay you £5 per carrier bag of old clothes which is redeemable against a £30 shop. We went to Spytty retail park in Newport where we enjoyed a buffet breakfast at Decks, traded our clothes in and spent a bit of dosh.
We then came home to watch the rugby, which, along with the rest of Wales, I’d rather not talk about.
