Almost two weeks ago I headed to Cardiff for #CDFSpringMeet, a South Wales blogger meet organised by the lovely Rosie. We paid just under £5 to attend the event which went to Give & Make-Up charity, Rosie also suggested taking any unloved make-up items along to donate to the charity. As a blogger I have plenty of make-up so took the above items along with me. Give & Make-Up are a fantastic charity and one that I am more than happy to support. You can read more about them here.
We met at the Brewhouse, Cardiff. I arrived to see that the lovely ladies from Lush Cardiff had set up a table full of goodies for us to sniff and buy. So many pretty things. We had a very nice lunch followed by super relaxing Lush arm massages.
The very talented Meg Darlington generously donated some jewellery as competition prizes, I will show you the jewellery in more detail soon, it is very special so deserves a post to itself.
We headed over to ELF Store Cardiff where we were given demonstrations on some lovely products and went a little photo crazy, the store is beautiful.
In true blogger style we were very excited by the selfie mirror.
Over at the demonstration table we had goody bags waiting for us (contents below) and our very own personalised leaflets, how adorable is that?
We thoroughly enjoyed playing with the make-up, there were a lot of oohhs and ahhs which is always a good sign.
Charli vlogged parts of the day, be sure to keep an eye on her YouTube Channel for the video.
These are the lovely ladies that I had the pleasure of spending the day with. L-R Alice, me, Rosie, Claire & Laura. Charli and Georgina had unfortunately left before this photo was taken.
We’d previously heard that Benedude Anthony would be wearing a special outfit in Benefit, Boots for the Big Easy launch so we couldn’t resist going along to have a look, he looked fab!
Thank you ELF and Pen & Paper for our lovely goody bags, I’m really looking forward to giving these products a go, they looked great in the demonstrations. I also treated myself to a pretty lipstick.
A Slice of My Life Wales is currently undergoing a revamp, please bear with us while these changes are integrated.
