Empties : February & March 2014

Empties : February & March 2014
I’ve been using Lush Angels on Bare Skin for a little while now and I really do enjoy using it. I love the smell and it works well for my skin. I am currently trialing a new skincare routine but would definitely go back to using this again. A probable re-purchase.
Who doesn’t love Lush Snow Fairy? I’ll be honest, I’ve been clinging on to the last little bit of this for a while now, it has been standing upside down on my bathroom shelf for a couple of months but I finally gave in and used it up. I am pretty sure that this will be re-purchased as soon as the Lush Christmas products are released for 2014.
I’ve used up this Smashbox foundation sample in shade 2 but won’t be using the others as they are too dark. The foundation seemed nice but I couldn’t really get a proper feel for it with such a small sample. I have another sample to try to will decide whether to purchase or not once I have used that.
I always pick up a pack of Primark face wipes when I’m buying something in there, they are dirt cheap and handy to have. I know that people frown against the use of face wipes but when I come home drunk these are better than the alternative of sleeping in my make-up. Regular repurchase
I absolutely love Primark’s reed diffusers, they are so cheap and always smell beautiful. Regular repurchase (I tend to stock pile these so have a few spares lying around!).
This Marks & Spencer fig shower cream was nice enough, nothing special. I don’t tend to buy myself expensive shower gels, I just buy whatever is on offer at the supermarket when I run out. As a result I won’t be repurchasing but am always happy to receive these as gifts.
I’m not even sure where this River Island spray came from, I found it during a clear out so thought I’d use it up. The smell doesn’t last long but that could be because it is stupidly old. I won’t be repurchasing
Regular readers will probably know that I love all things Benefit. The Benefit Foamingly Clean facial wash was no different, I really did enjoy using this and it looked great on display in the bathroom (bonus points). My skin enjoyed this too but I just can’t afford to make this a regular repurchase, despite how much I want to. I do have to mention the one negative to this product, the packaging (which is also a big plus). Despite the packaging being gorgeous it is really rather annoying, As the plastic is quite hard it is very difficult to squeeze out the last of the product, which will result in a lot of wastage if you don’t snip the end off.
The Royal Jelly Pure Honey hand cream from Boots is delicious. It smells gorgeous and leaves the hands feeling really soft and nourished. I would repurchase
Shielo Shampoo & Conditioner*, how I love thee. You can read my original review of these here. My hair seriously loved these products and I really, really wish that I could afford to repurchase these time and time again. But I can’t.
These little samples never really contain enough product to get a real feel for them. I do have two tubs of Steamcream to review so will let you know my thoughts on that once I’ve tried them.

Lovely items – I recently bought a Primark reed diffuser but am saving it for when I move house. I might purchase some more scents! 🙂

Ooh, Lush is lush! Will be interested to hear what you think of Steam Cream, I was thinking of buying it. I tried a small tester & thought it was very perfumed so not sure.
    Love your blog!

Wet wipes are my guilty pleasure too! But get them from Tesco, I get the Johnsons baby wipes and you get something like 72 inside for £1 and at the moment they are £1.70 BOGOF. Love them so much they last me ages and are so cheap and saves a trip to town.
