Another month down and I’m another year older. April has been a blast what with a holiday and a Birthday. Other exciting goings on in April included winning Abby’s giveaway for a pair of very lovely glasses and winning a trip to Ireland via Period Homes & Interiors magazine, we are going on 12 May and I cannot wait!
My most viewed post written in April was my write up of St David’s Ladies Night, closely followed by my write up of #CDFSpringMeet (Talking of CDF Meet, watch Charli’s awesome vlog about the day here). The most commented on posts in April were my empties (which is really unusual as I’ve actually considered stopping this because it never seems very popular, I will continue with it as this one was successful!), closely followed by my Birthday & Easter week in photos and my Birthday presents post. It would seem that you guys enjoyed celebrating my Birthday with me which makes me incredibly happy.
Both myself and Spencer thoroughly enjoyed reading Little B’s post about living with a blogger, I urge all my fellow bloggers to check it out, it is so true to life it will make you chuckle. Chloe & Hayley‘s posts have got me desperate to book a trip to London so that I can visit Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium.
You may have noticed that I have some new adverts in my sidebar. I’m offering five free advertising spaces each month via Twitter. My plan is to host the ads for a month and introduce the advertisers for that month on this post, but that may not go to plan as I have a busy life! Here is a little more about my current advertisers.
I’ve been following Cherry Pie blog for quite a while now and have also had the pleasure of meeting Cherry a while ago. Cherry covers a wide range of topics but focuses on beauty, she also posts a regular wishlist and her week in photos is always worth a view.
On The Bias blog is one that I discovered through my free advertising, which is one of the reasons for me doing this, not just to help fellow bloggers out but to also discover new reads for myself. Francesca’s pretty blog primarily covers health and beauty.
In the Life of Laura is another blog discovered through my advertising. Firstly, how awesome is her pink hair? Laura blogs about lifestyle, beauty and fashion but is more active on Instagram at the moment, so be sure to follow her there as well as on her blog!
Last but by no means least we have Pretty Little Things and The Cotton City, is it just me who loves the name of this blog? Lucy is relatively new to the blogging world but is already doing really well and producing great content. Lucy blogs about life in general including beauty and wishlists.
I will be looking for my June advertisers shortly so be sure to follow me on Twitter if you are interested in appearing in my May favourites post and sitting on my sidebar throughout June.
Did you have a good April? What were your favourite posts to read/highlights of the month?
