We went to a Wedding evening at the gorgeous Oldwalls in the Gower, Swansea on Thursday night. I decided that this would be the first outing for my new favourite dress. I’ve been fancying this Lindy Bop dress for quite a while now, after nosing at it a few times it started following me around the internet which made me very weak. I came to place an order with Nyla Rose and couldn’t resist popping this into my basket too.
At £38 it is slightly more expensive from Nyla Rose than other retailers, the average price seems to be around £35. As I was ordering with Nyla rose anyway I didn’t mind paying the extra as I was paying the postage for their site anyway which would cancel out the price difference of ordering from another site.
My order arrived very quickly and was wrapped well (I’d ordered some teacup and saucers as well as my dress). The dress is the perfect fit on me, and I would say, true to size.
When I saw this gorgeous swing in the grounds of the hotel I knew that I needed a photo of me on it while wearing my pretty dress. After a few beers Spencer agreed to come and take a photo for me.
Blooper alert.
The hotel room was very dark making taking the photos quite difficult. We wanted to take them in the room as Spencer taking photos of me in the grounds while the photographer was taking photos of the Wedding party didn’t seem quite right. As a result of the photos coming out awful I was stressing and telling Spencer what to do, he took one photo mid-order!

The swing after a bottle of wine wasn't too good, the floor was muddy & slippery, not sure how I didn't go kicking haha! x

I'm sorry if the way that I wear my dress offends you. We all have different bodies and this is simply how the dress falls on me.

You look lovely and summery 🙂 I still haven't got the nerve to get my legs out, way too cold!

On a side note, I couldn't help but notice the comment from the delightful person above – when are people going to learn that if they've got nothing nice to say then they should shut their traps!? Ignore – you look great.
