Are you stuck for ideas for Father’s Day next week (21 June)? If so, take a look at my gift guide suitable for most budgets.
Who doesn’t like cake? This cake fits through your letter box so you don’t have to wait in for it’s arrival. You can choose your personalisation and cake filling. This is actually a cake that I won via Life of Mum’s blog
and it has already been eaten, I must admit, we did feel guilty eating Aria!
With Spencer being in work while Aria and I are enjoying ourselves at home I thought it would be nice to get him a little something to remind him of Aria, he drinks a lot of tea in work so what better something than a personalised mug?
Another one for the office, these photos come ready framed in frame colours of your choice. They are small enough to fit nicely on a desk without getting in the way.
Nanny Violet’s Jams
You can read my review of Nanny Violet’s jams here
, I enjoyed the jams so much that we decided to buy some for both mine and Spencer’s dads for Father’s Day. We will also buy them some local cheese and posh crackers to go with these.
Afternoon tea consisting of steak, yorkshire puddings, mini burgers and scotch eggs. Sounds amazing right? I just hope that Spencer takes me along with him.
This is a pretty cool gift, you can personalise the characters in this Peppa Pig book (from a limited choice!) to resemble daddy and child, you can also add additional spouses. You enter the child’s name in and can also enter a short personal message. Get £3 off using the code DADDY.
As well as it being Father’s Day on 21st June it is also the day that Aria and I are taking part in the Race for Life. This outfit is simply perfect for both of these occasions, it will be a lovely surprise when Spencer sees her in it on the day and the pink tutu will look fantastic in the Pink Army! My friend who I am doing Race for Life with has also bought one for her daughter, they are going to look adorable next to each other. I’m a little excited about this one as you can probably tell.
As well as a nice thoughtful gift I love to throw in a novelty gift. This year I have gone for the Das Horn, a very manly drinking vessel that can be displayed in a stand in pride of place when not in use.
Personalised Photo Card
As it is Spencer’s first Father’s Day I thought I would put a bit of effort into the card in the form of a photo card. I fell in love with this one, I love that it looks as though it has been coloured in with a crayon.
Some of the retailers in this post pay cashback via Quidco, if you haven’t already signed up with them you can do so here, if you have make sure that you go through them first to get your cashback. It really is worth doing, I’ve earned £97.50 in about a year and a half.
