As you may know by now Aria and are I taking part in the Race For Life* for Cancer Research on Father’s Day this year. As is traditional when taking part in Race For Life we are donning pink, and lots of it!
Aria will be wearing this amazing Father’s Day top & tutu, we’re taking part with one of my friends and her baby daughter who will also be wearing the same outfit. They are going to look ridiculously cute. I’m also really excited to see Spencer’s face when he sees her in the outfit as he doesn’t know anything about it.
I’ll be wearing my Race For Life t-shirt* and my pink tinted sun visor from Tiger, probably with a pair of leggings.
As for decorating the pushchair we have these pink fluffy battery operated fairy lights to wrap around the bar on the car seat which is what I’ll be using on the pushchair that day. Not only will they look cool but they will also keep Aria occupied, she loves looking at lights.
As for preparation I’ve been keeping up with my regular walks and timing myself, so far each walk has been a little bit quicker than the last which is great!
I’m doing well on the sponsorship front and have gone over target already, but you can never raise too much so I would absolutely love if you could spare some money to sponsor us, if fifty of my readers donated £1 each that would make a huge difference! If you’re feeling generous then please click here.
There are still some Race For Life events open for registration, click here to check your local events and sign up, also, if you enter the code RFLSlice you will save £2 off the entry fee.
