Review : Sock Ons – The Solution To Baby Socks That Won’t Stay On

I’m sure that most parents are familiar with the struggle that is attempting to keep socks on a wriggly baby. You put socks on them, they kick and wiggle and the socks fall off, strangers in the street judge you and tell you that your babies feet are probably cold without socks on, you feel like punching them.
You’ll be relieved to know that there is a solution for this problem, in the form of Sock Ons.

review of sock ons for babies

My sister used these with Ollie and raved about them to us so much that I had to try them out. They come in a variety of colours and designs and just slip on over the babies socks to hold them in place.

I picked up two packs, one white and one with two different colour pinks, I figured that these would blend in with most of Aria’s socks nicely, although I do often pair a pink sock-on with a white sock as I think the contrast looks quite nice.
So, do they work? Yes. If I don’t use Sock ons Aria’s socks last approximately five seconds before coming off, if I use Sock ons her socks last hours without coming off. Now that she is more active they do slip off a little but very rarely come fully off.
Instead of people judging me and my baby’s cold feet I now have people asking me what the things on her socks her, so far everyone has been very impressed when I’ve explained what they are!
Sock Ons are available from several different retailers both in-store and on-line. Amazon stock a very large range including these sneaker design ones that I quite fancy!
Have you heard of Sock Ons before? Do you use them or will you be buying them now?

I love sock ons! All three of my children have used them, and I have just passed them on to a friend who had never heard of them! Such a fab idea! x

Great idea! Better than tucking your child's trousers into their socks which is what I have been doing with my 11 week old little boy in an attempt to keep his socks on, ha!! #mummymonday

I have been questioning buying these every time I walk past them in mothercare, although I haven't given birth yet, I often get told about the missing sock stories and think these are actually genius, good to know they work!!
