Do you fancy fighting cancer while eating cake and drinking coffee with friends? Then carry on reading.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Macmillan Coffee Mornings. To celebrate, Marks & Spencer, the main partner, have launched a few limited edition products and will be hosting coffee mornings at their stores nationwide, even my local store, Cwmbran, are joining in. This is the sixth year that M&S have supported the coffee mornings and in that time the retailer alone has raised over £4million for Macmillan Cancer Support, not bad hey!
The limited edition products include bone china mugs* priced at £5 each, floral tea towels* priced at £5 for a set of two and a selection of delicious cakes* for just £2.70 each. As well as the products pictured above there is also aprons, a limited edition biscuit tin with shortbread and much more available. 10% of the sale of each of these products will go straight to Macmillan.
If you are hosting your own coffee morning this year be sure to head to M&S to buy some products from their coffee morning range, not only will you be raising money by hosting your coffee morning but you will also be helping by buying these products. What better excuse to treat yourself to some beautiful floral treats.
If you are unable to host your own coffee morning why not head to your local M&S for a guilt free cake and a cuppa on the morning of 25th September? Products available will include a Macmillan Victoria Sandwich and the famous Colin the Caterpillar Cake.
If you aren’t able to make it on 25th September don’t worry, M&S cafes are donating 5p from every cup of coffee and slice of cake sold during September to Macmillan.
Don’t forget to order your free coffee morning kit here.
