I remember the days when subscription boxes became a ‘thing’ in the UK, there were a lot of beauty boxes on the scene, some great, some not so great. Good or bad they were always an exciting way of discovering new products, usually at a discounted price.
Several years on and there are subscription boxes for just about everything, make-up, food, pets, everything! The most recent subscription boxes to catch my attention are the #HappyMail boxes
* from ihearthomes, these themed boxes are jam packed with beautiful vintage and shabby chic treats.
As I would expect from a subscription box it is packed beautifully, once you untie and open the box you are greeted with a welcome note and blue tissue paper. The items are neatly arranged in the tissue paper, the place cards were packaged in a pink & white stripe bag sealed down with washi tape. I love cute touches like this.
The theme for the box that I received was tea. I love that they have a theme each month and stick to it so well, everything in the box is somehow tea related and also very pretty. Despite the theme there was still a great mixture of products including homeware, bath treats and edible goodies.
Read on to find out exactly what I received in my box. If the product is available on the site I have linked to it.
I love this print. I have ordered a fancy frame and assuming that it fits it will live on my shelf with my teapot, pretty bottles and teacups.
These heart shaped place cards are cute. I’m not sure when I’ll use them but they are a lovely addition to the box.
I love this coaster, as soon as I opened the box it became my coffee coaster. I have now decided that I want to do away with my current Banksy coasters and get a variety of pretty quote coasters.
I love retro signs like this and am a great fan of pretty much anything by Sass and Belle so I was delighted to see this in my box. I did stick it on the wall by the kettle but it fell off so it is now hanging over the corner of a photo frame in the kitchen.
This smells absolutely delicious, as soon as I opened my parcel I was greeted with a beautiful smell and this was the culprit. I love rose & vanilla tea so am really looking forward to bathing in it!
This is a lovely tea towel and is very me, my diet often stops for tea and cake!
As well as the items listed individually I also received a teabag, a mini cake fork and a biscuit.
Overall I am very impressed with this subscription box, if you love all things shabby chic I think that you will too!
