You may or may not know that October is breast cancer awareness month, with October coming to an end this weekend there isn’t much time left to get involved, but the good news is that you can still help to make a difference!
Every year nearly 55,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK, that’s the equivalent of one person every 10 minutes. 1 in 8 women in the UK will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Nearly 12,000 people die from breast cancer in the UK every year. Sharing the image above could help to bring the 12,000 deaths down, catching cancer early is key.
To share the above image simply right click on it and save as, or if you are on a mobile device take a screen shot. Sharing this on your facebook page and asking others to share could save lives.
Other easy ways to get involved are to buy pink products, companies such as Smint are releasing special edition products for Breast Cancer Awareness month, for every product sold a donation will be made to Breast Cancer Care. If Smints* aren’t your thing you could treat yourself to some flowers, make-up, shoes, cocktails and more! See the full list of pink products and do your bit to help here.
