During my time as a blogger I have reviewed several subscription boxes, including beauty, lifestyle, adult craft, food and even a period themed box. Today I am going to be reviewing the Toucan Box*, a children’s craft subscription service.
The Toucan Box is a fortnightly or monthly subscription service aimed at children aged 3 – 8, it is designed to allow children to explore, learn, create and play. Each themed box comes personally addressed to your child with the items and instructions to make a certain item. The subscription is flexible with various options including how often you want the box, the size of the box and the option to pay an additional fee to receive extra items for a sibling.
My niece and nephew couldn’t wait to get stuck into the Christmas box that I received. My nephew is three and my niece six, both of them enjoyed making the icicle crafts, Gracie by herself and Olly with a little help from his mother.
Both myself, Gracie and Olly were very impressed with the Toucan Box, it kept them both entertained for the duration of their visit to my house with no effort at all on my part. They actually didn’t want to go when the time came as they were having so much fun!
Gracie’s eyes lit up when she saw that I had a Toucan Box for them to play with, she very excitedly said “I know where you got that from, the Postman!”, I can only assume that she has seen it advertised and has been lusting after trying one for a while.
I highly recommend the Toucan Box, prices start at just £3.95 + P&P they are such a great way to keep the kids easily entertained.
