This Christmas we are all about the Disney magic. I love Disney and now my daughter does too. I am so excited to enjoy the Disney magic with her for many years to come.
I am absolutely loving the personalised items available from the Disney Store this year, they have a wide number of items ready waiting for your personalisation, including luxurious stockings and matching family pyjamas – we didn’t have those in my days, unless of course I just wasn’t enough of a good girl to get them!
Luckily for Aria she is on the nice list 99% of the time and so Disney decided to share their magic with her and gift her a stocking full of some of her favourite goodies.
Aria loves arts, crafts and Princesses so she is going to be pretty excited to find this Disney Princess art kit in her stocking this year.
Every Princesses needs a tiara and this Cinderella one is just dreamy. Cinderella was my absolute favourite growing up (very closely followed by The Little Mermaid!) and so I must admit, I’m a little envious of this tiara and will mostly definitely be ‘borrowing’ it from time to time! It’s super heavy and real good quality.
Thank you Disney for giving myself and my daughter the gift of magic this Christmas.
Despite the fact that chocolate is one of my all time favourite things in life and I love an excuse to eat a small chocolate everyday for twenty four days, I really do enjoy the non-chocolate advent calendars. There is something very exciting about opening the door to reveal a little surprise present everyday for twenty four days. As I love advent calendars so much I decided to put together a little round up of my favourite non-chocolate advent calendars in 2017.

Kellogg’s Variety Advent Calendar*
The Kellogg’s Variety calendar is such a cool idea, an idea that kids and parents will love. Kids will love it because it’s exciting, they open the door to reveal which bowl of delicious cereal they will be eating that morning. Parents will love it because, well, your kids are basically just having their normal cereal for breakfast but they are excited about it! Everyone’s a winner. Kellogg’s 24 bowls til’ Christmas advent calendar is available from Tesco for £4. Take a peek at the Kellogg’s Variety calendar in more detail in my video :
Disney Animators Collection Advent Calendar
If you have a Disney fan in your house this one is for you. I’ll be honest, I bought this calendar partly for Aria and partly for me! I was disappointed with this calendar, watch my video to find out why.

A little while back Aria and I went along to Jenny Healey Photography studio for a Disney themed photo shoot. Jenny, a family photographer based in Pontypool, had been in her shop for one year, what better way to celebrate her anniversary than with a trip to Disneyland Paris and a Disney themed photography pop up event?
Jenny had several different set ups to capture a variety of Disney themed photos, including Cinderella, Frozen, Up, Toy Story, Sleeping Beauty and a lot of other popular Disney films. I am a massive fan of Cinderella so couldn’t wait to get Aria in the Cinderella set up!
The magic didn’t end with the photos, Anna from Frozen popped along to entertain the children and have a few photos taken, there was also a hair and make-up artist on hand for the older children.
Jenny managed to pull off a truly magical event, she is so creative and enthusiastic about her work and it really shows in these photos. If you would like to see more photos from the day you can do so here.
