Blogging Income & Stats April 2017

1st May 2017

Another month another blogging income & stats report! I’m feeling quite excited and optimistic at the moment, and also very overwhelmed, but still; excitement! April was a good month payment wise and, as a result of my largest paid blog job to date, I already have a large chunk due for payment next month. I also have another big job in the pipework for June. Things seem to be on the up and I am really hoping that this is just how it is now, rather than being just a good run.

My stats are on the up again which is always a relief. During April my blog received 16,460 page views, 12,565 of which were from unique users. My domain authority has jumped up to 32 and I am now ranked at 51 in the Tots100 chart! My Klout seems to fluctuate between 69 and 70, as I type this it has settled at 70, for now at least.

My followings as of 1st May are:

Facebook : 972
Twitter : 7,047
Instagram : 21,662
Pinterest : 1,059
Google+ : 406
Bloglovin’ : 1,152
YouTube : 170

My earnings during April were:

Sponsored blog post fees – £630.48
Commission/referral fees – £20.00

Total income – £650.48

Hosting fees – £4.99
Paypal fees – £3.60 (I get charged when companies pay me via Paypal)
Photoshop – £8.57
iCloud Storage – £0.79
Social media scheduling programme – £9.64
BlogOn refund (I cancelled my ticket due to house move and impending financial doom) – -£47.48

Total Expenses : -£19.89

Total income less expenses : £670.37

On top of the income I received the following to promote/review.

An overnight stay with dinner & breakfast at The Vale Resort, Degustabox, Rocco Clothing dress for Aria, Peacocks clothing for the whole family, Googly Fruits goodies and California Raisins goodies.

I currently have outstanding sponsored post fees totalling £700 which makes me feel very happy, excited and also greedy as I am now hoping to smash £1,000 this month!
