Blogging Income & Stats June 2017

Blogging Income & Stats June 2017

It’s July which means that I am moving this month – yay (well, yay assuming that nothing goes wrong as we haven’t exchanged contracts yet!). I didn’t bill quite as much during June as I did in May, but I still managed to bill £987 which is fab and almost double my target of £500 per month.

Stats wise, during June my blog received 15,772 page views, 11,733 of which were from unique users. My domain authority is now on 35, I managed to stay in the same place in the Tots100 chart and am still ranked at 65. My Klout has gone down to 68 but I’m not too worried about this slight decrease as most bloggers I know have decreased for some reason. It’s due to a change in API or something else technical.

My followings as of 1st July are:

Facebook : 1,046
Twitter : 7,708
Instagram : 23.3K
Pinterest : 1,144
Google+ : 408
Bloglovin’ : 1,179
YouTube : 187

My earnings during June were:

Sponsored blog post fees – £1,312.67
Sponsored social media fees – £75
Commission/referral fees – £15.48

Total income – £1,403.15

Hosting fees – £4.99
Paypal fees – £12.75 (I get charged when companies pay me via Paypal)
Photoshop – £8.57
iCloud Storage – £2.49
Social media scheduling – £19.47
Photoshop Actions – £19.43

Total Expenses : £67.70

Total income less expenses : £1,335.45

On top of the income I received the following to promote/review.

Radio, Degustabox and a Cosatto pushchair. Yes, a Cosatto pushchair. One of my blogging goals since having Aria was to review a Cosatto pushchair, and I can now cross that off the list!

I currently have outstanding sponsored post fees totalling £581.50, and have two big jobs lined up, one of which I will be invoicing today and the other I hope to invoice this month too.

I really wish I could get to this level of earning from my blog. I just can’t seem to break through to this amount 🙁

I must admit that this seems like a great amount to be working towards. My blogging is new, at the moment it’s not a thought to get paid. But one day it would be great to reach a level where I could move to working part time and get paid for blogging to cover the other time I was now working.

This has inspired me to start setting some goals
