I’m not sure if it’s my new found addiction of cleaning accounts on instagram or the change in the seasons, but I’m suddenly feeling motivated. I’m feeling house proud and I’m wanting a new me for Autumn. I’m obsessed with thoughts of chunky knits and a cosy home.
We still have a long way to go before our house is finished, but it is slowly starting to become a home. Lately I’ve added comfortable furniture, warm colours, on trend decor and of course plants, all the plants, and it has really made our house feel like our home.
The change in seasons always comes with a wardrobe re-vamp. Aria absolutely loves twinning with Carrie, when I dress them in different clothes she often tells me that she likes Carrie’s top and wishes she had one like it, bless. Her face lights up when I dress them in matching outfits, she is such a proud big sister and I intend to make the most of it before they they decide that twinning is totally cringe.
Unfortunately the change in seasons isn’t all Autumn sun and crunchy leaves, it also brings with it a clock change which results in tired, unruly children who absolutely will not listen. I’m patiently waiting for the day that eye bags and frazzled hair become a trend.
Our home and wardrobes are definitely ready for Autumn/Winter, now we just need to think about that C word…
