*I have not been compensated for this post, brands donated the gifts for Cyfannol Women’s Aid in exchange for being featured*
It’s easy to get swept away in the Christmas madness. Buying stuff that we don’t need because social media tells us that we should. Buying endless gifts for our loved ones, that they will appreciate, but they don’t need, they already have so much ‘stuff’. It’s easy to forget about those who aren’t able to get swept away in the Christmas madness, those who don’t have any of that ‘stuff’, those whose lives have been torn apart.
As a blogger I get to work with some lovely brands, and I decided that this year I would reach out to some of those brands to see if they would like to help me help the families seeking help from my local Cyfannol Women’s Aid centre this Christmas.
For those of you who don’t know much about Cyfannol Women’s Aid, they provide services and support to women and their children experiencing domestic abuse throughout Torfaen, Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent. They provide so much for these women and their children, including support, education and accommodation. This Christmas there will be families seeking accommodation who will have fled violence and have nothing. These donations could be the difference between having nothing on Christmas day or having something.
Thank you so much to Claire’s Accessories who donated a gorgeous bag full of goodies. Their Christmas range is fun, cheerful and is sure to put a smile on their faces.
Thank you to Dr Bronner’s for your generous product donations. These clever soaps have 18 uses in 1 and are perfect for not only personal hygiene but also dishes, laundry and so much more! The different fragrances all smell delightful.
Thank you WOW Toys for your super generous toy donations, the toys will be a great hit and I hope that the reward charts will help the children to settle in to their new surroundings.

I’m hoping to make this even bigger and better in 2019 – please get in touch if you would like to be involved in any future projects.
Thank you Hannah for inspiring me to do this.
