Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you are having a great day and feeling suitably loved.
I decided to bake Spencer me a cake for the occasion. I found the recipe for Brownie Hearts with Rolos on Baking Mad and instantly knew that that was the one!
I decided to make one big giant heart shaped brorwnie using my heart shaped silicone bakeware from IKEA, I never realised how much longer things took to bake in silicone!
I finished the cake with my heart sprinkles* from Tiger. I attempted to cut a smaller heart out for Spencer to take to work today, my plastic cutter wasn’t quite strong enough to cut through but it kind of resembles a heart! The cake itself is absolutely delicious, very chocolatey and just the right amount of gooey.
We’re now off to our local Table Table for a three course meal and a glass of bubbly. I hope you’re having a good Valentine’s Day 🙂
