Slimming World Weekly Weigh In Results & Food Diary #4

Week four of Slimming World is here and I am pleased to say I am still enjoying it, I’ve had a few treats but haven’t had any major slip ups as it is relatively easy to stick to. I believe that the frozen range that is now available helps me stick to plan, it is so handy to have it in the freezer for those days where you just can’t be-bothered.

Last week my consultant mentioned that I wasn’t eating enough speed food, I have made more of an effort to eat it this week, including when I really haven’t wanted it. I even added veg to my curry & rice which isn’t like me at all! I have had a few meals where I just didn’t fancy it, such as chicken nuggets, chips & beans, in my opinion veg would ruin that meal!I lost another 2lbs this week bringing me to a total loss of 10.5lbs which I am pretty pleased with. I have set a target of 2lbs for next week, but I would love 3.5lbs which would bring me up to a stone!

Breakfast – Syn free pancakes with strawberries & banana
Lunch – Breakfast muffins (1.5 syns) with beans, mushrooms & onions
Tea – Steak & mushroom pie with green beans, courgette fries & onion gravy – to make the ‘pie’ I cooked steak & mushrooms in syn free onion gravy, transferred it into individual dishes topped with egg washed wholemeal Kingsmill sandwich thin, these were then cooked in the oven on 200 for about ten minutes, until the top had browned
Pudding – Mississippi Mud Pie with strawberries (2 syns) – recipe found on SWFeebs Instagram page
Snacks – Latte (6 syns) 2 Slimming World ferrero rocher (4 syns)
Healthy extras – 2 wholemeal Kingsmill sandwich thins (on pie) & 250ml of milk used in coffee.
Total syns – 13.5

Breakfast – 4 breakfast muffins (2 syns)
Lunch – Cottage pie (6 syns) with leeks & courgette
Tea – Cheesy chicken nuggets – recipe coming soon (3 syns), beans & chips
Snacks – Ferrero Rocher (2 syns), Muller Light
Healthy extras – 2 hi-fi light bars & 250ml of milk used in coffee.
Total syns – 13

Lunch – Nandos butterfly chicken in lemon & herb sauce, Macho peas & ratatouille (guessing at 9 syns)
Tea – Curried chicken chunks (chicken coated in a mix of natural yoghurt & curry powder, then fried in Fry Light), with charred vegetables.
Pudding – 1/2 Syn Cake – I’ll come back to you with a recipe on this when I’m happy with how it turned out, this one looked green and tasted very eggy!
Healthy extras – 250ml semi skimmed milk used in coffee & 2 Alpen light bars
Total syns – Not sure of exact syns but guessing at 11.5

Breakfast – Turkey rashers, leeks & onions
Lunch – SW Chicken burger (frozen from Iceland)
Tea – Slow cooked beef stew
Snacks – Muller Light x 2, sweetened natural yoghurt with cherries, strawberries & oranges. Latte (6 syns). Oreo ice cream on a cone (no idea on syns)
Healthy extras – 250ml semi skimmed milk used in coffee & 2 Alpen light bars
Total syns – Not sure due to unknown syns in ice cream when out

Tea – Chicken curry, courgette chips & Chinese fried rice (boil rice as usual, spray a wok with fry light, pour rice in with some frozen peas, add soy sauce & Chinese Five Spice to taste, crack two eggs over and keep stirring)
Snacks – Orange chocolate Muller Light, satsuma
Healthy extras – 250ml semi skimmed used in coffee (one deliciously frothy coffee and one regular coffee) & 2 hi-fi bars
Total syns – 0

Tea – Slimming World beef burgers (frozen from Iceland), onion rings, chips, mushrooms, onions & tomato (2 syns for cheese)
Pudding – Chocolate orange pudding (two Jaffa cake Alpen light bars melted for 20 secs then crushed into bowl, pour over half a vanilla & choc Muller light mixed with gelatine, leave to set)
Snacks – Double chocolate Alpen Light (3 syns)
Healthy extras – 250ml semi skimmed milk in coffee & two Alpen bars used in pudding

    Your weekly menu sounds amazing and I am still blown away that Slimming World works even with all that stunningly delicious food!     Syn free pancakes now they sound good! My foster son does a vegan version of pancakes when we have no eggs in the house. They are good but have oil in them so are still bad 🙁

    On the lunch when you had just a chicken burger is that all you had? I would suggest adding some veg there (maybe carrot sticks?) but that's just my opinion.

    Oh all your meals look very yummy 🙂 Well done on your loss. I know what you mean about nuggets, chips and beans, sometimes I feel the same so just eat lots of speed fruit through the day lol #swsunday
