Winner Winner Birds Eye Chicken For Dinner!

I am always on the hunt for quick and convenient meals, ideally straight from the freezer and not full of crap. Aria comes home from nursery starving, and constantly nagging for food, food that she needs now! Being pregnant I am losing a lot of patience and really need food that I know Aria will enjoy, I simply don’t have the energy to go through the whole fussing and whinging over food stage with her. I also need food that can be cooked easily, I’m often palming the cooking off onto Spencer nowadays and, though he tries, he really isn’t the best in the kitchen, bless. Birds Eye really is perfect for when mammy wants to put her feet up!

Our go to food has now become our favourite chicken dishes from Birds Eye. The Birds Eye brand are synonymous with family tea times and with most dishes oven ready straight from the freezer in twenty minutes or less I can see why.

There are so many common misconceptions when it comes to frozen chicken, wrongly named as “nutritionally void” and “made of mush”, but when it comes to Birds Eye chicken, this certainly is not the case. Birds Eye take quality very seriously and, over the last two years, have upgraded the quality of their entire chicken range. Their chicken range is all made with 100% chicken breast and contains zero artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. They really can be enjoyed by the whole family, and enjoy them we do!

Our favourite way to enjoy the Birds Eye chicken range is to serve up a delicious Crispy Chicken in Tempura Batter each along with new potatoes and salad, although Aria “doesn’t like leaves” so tends to have cucumber and tomato with her chicken and potatoes.

Another firm favourite of ours is the chicken nuggets with Golden Wholegrain, I like to ensure that I have a bag of these in the freezer at all times, they save my very disorganised self many a time when I realise I’ve forgotten to do the food shop, once again.

We love these in our house and always make sure we have a bag (or two) in the freezer! They are possibly the only food that all three children will agree on!!

We all love these here. My son is such a fussy eater it’s lovely to be able to serve him something that I know he won’t turn his nose up at!

I absolutely love crispy chicken wraps (bit of chilli sauce, mayo, salad, sliced crispy chicken and cucumber). It’s such a nice and easy mid-week dinner or lazy Saturday lunch 🙂

Mmmmh that dinner in the background looks delicious. Doesn’t help considering I had no dinner today. We are a fan of froze things too especially bird’s eye. I love their bbq chicken range. It’s restaurant quality food. So good. I’m not the biggest cook anyway.
